Mission: To ensure the success of the Tribe’s gaming enterprises by training and developing highly competent individuals to protect the Tribe’s assets, and maintain the public’s confidence in the integrity of the gaming enterprises.
The Saint Regis Tribal Gaming Commission is responsible for regulatory oversight of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort and the Mohawk Bingo Palace. The Gaming Commission is a wholly independent department of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and was created by the Tribal Gaming Ordinance.
The Gaming Commission is comprised of the Licensing, Audit, Gaming Inspectors, Surveillance and Gaming Networks departments.
The Gaming Commission is entrusted to protect the health, welfare and safety of employees and patrons of the Tribe’s gaming enterprises, to develop and implement a means of regulation for the conduct of gaming on tribal lands and to insure the fair and honest operation of such gaming and to minimize the possibility of corruption or illegal practices in conjunction with gaming.
